I absolutely love 1858. It is, without question, a phenomenal gym. I’ve been weight training for over 25 years and, during that time, I’ve belonged to two other gyms and worked out at countless others. I can honestly say that 1858 stands out from all of them. The fact that 1858 is a private gym, with prospective members interviewed by the owners, Justin and Sherrie, before joining, really makes a difference. It creates a welcoming, respectful, quiet, and focused atmosphere that you simply don’t find at a typical commercial gym. Everyone is there because they are serious about training, and there are none of the usual distractions you find at a crowded commercial gym. The equipment is exceptional. They have everything you could possibly want, including an impressive selection of machines and equipment that you simply won’t find in your average gym. Justin and Sherrie are constantly bringing in new equipment and thoughtfully rearranging the gym to optimize the space and improve the experience for their members. The gym itself is quiet, impeccably clean, and extremely well maintained. It’s obvious that Justin and Sherrie genuinely care about 1858 and the people who belong to it. Their

1858 Gym is truly the best. Top-tier equipment, of course, but what really sets it apart is the genuine respect members have for one another. It’s exclusive for reasons beyond the expected—it’s people-first, from the top down, and you can feel that in its culture of safety and excellence. Thank you for having me!

1858 is really an incredible gym, and it is very unique for the location. I struggled forever to find "home" in Alpharetta - I am SOOO happy I found 1858. It is clean, open 24/7, you basically never have to wait for any weights, equipment, etc, and everyone that works out there is really cool. I could not recommend it here more - if you are serious about your fitness and want the best experience possible in north metro Atlanta area check it out!

It took me a while to join the gym weighing out the options around the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area, but man am I happy that I did. This is probably the best gym I've joined. Ever. The machines are fantastic 10/10. I have also never felt like I've ever needed to fight for a machine. Justin & Sherry are incredible people who have created a beautiful gym culture and environment. Their vision for what this gym is supposed to be is really amazing. They walk and operate with a great sense of integrity, and the members reflect that as well. I can't recommend this gym enough.

It’s been a true blessing finding a place like 1858. As someone who has always been passionate about fitness, but recently decided to take bodybuilding more seriously, 1858 has proven to be the key to unlocking and enhancing my training regimen. There are no more excuses with their selection of machines and equipment. The machines have all been thoughtfully handpicked, each serving a specific purpose. Including everything from original, hard-to-find Nautilus and Cybex equipment to the latest top-of-the-line machines from Arsenal, Nytram, Prime, and other top brands. While putting a label on this place seems lazy and borderline irresponsible, if I had to, I’d go with its designed for the intellectual, thoughtful, and passionate bodybuilder or fitness enthusiast. If your looking to get a little better each day and for a community that is focused, knowledgeable, and that genuinely cares, this place might be for you
